It's that time of year again - Reindeer are in the windows of shops, elves are making presents, and citizen are searching desperately for extra Xmas gifts which they hope will please loved ones. If you're a parent it's even harder. The high-priced presents that most kids want are all sold in commercial retailers and outlets, but aren't likely to last more than a few months of play time at best.
